It's approximately ONE WHOLE YEAR from the day I first picked up sticks and thread and started making things. Happy Knitiversary to me!
Also, Tuesday is my birthday, so I'm flying back to Tennessee tomorrow to see my family. I hope you all have a safe and lovely weekend--I'll have lots of knitting updates when I return. Noelle, pictures!

Congratulations! I can't believe you have been knitting just one year and have such a depth of knitting knowledge - Wow. I think you were MEANT to knit ;-).
I hope to have some pictures too - the little toddler backpack should be finished up this weekend. My mom is coming to town for a few days en route to the UK so if she can watch the kiddies I can do some knitting. Also, the big MGA Greyhound Reunion (see my link) is tomorrow so we will be spending the day there, hanging out with all the dogs that come back to visit (usually several hundred greyhounds - it's very cool).
Oh, and our hemp yarn should be arriving shortly - they sent me an email that they were getting ready to mail it but we have a little stumbling block. My credit card number was stolen - only one charge was made, but I had to cancel the card and that was the one I used for the hemp yarn purchase. So now I'm trying to get a hold of someone there to give them my new number. What a pain in the you-know-what.
Have a safe flight and lots of fun in TN and seeing your family. Looking forward to hearing all the stories about your weekend! Is Matt going with?

Eeeeeek on the identity theft...that's been happening all over the place lately. Good luck with that, I had to deactivate my debit card because of that.
Matt did not go with, but that's okay. I don't know how much of my family he can take. :)
