Not to upstage Noelle, but I'm bored at work

First, the Clapotis did not work out, primarily because I haven't had the time to dye the yarn I bought. But I did make this:

It's my first crocheted project, made with Patons SWS. It took two days and less than two skeins. It's not as lovely when it's wrapped around my head, but hopefully Mom will like it. The colors are not quite what I was going for, but she likes oranges and greens.

Here's the jacket for my youngest niece:

I haven't finished weaving in the ends or sewing the armhole seam, but I'll get there. I don't really have a choice, haha.

I'm also working on this:

I got commissioned to do this by my friend Mesum. Poor guy tried to learn to knit so he could make something for his niece...and I got suckered into doing it FOR him. He did, however, give me a ride to the airport in the wee hours of Thanksgiving morning, so I kinda owe him. All I have left is the fringe on the ends! It's my own pattern, too, and I think it turned out well.

My mittens, they are finished.

Also, I am very intensely obsessed with John Lennon's solo work these days. I've always been enamored with Plastic Ono Band, but now I keep feeling urges to pick everything else up. Even Milk and Honey. What's wrong with me?
