I live in an itty bitty house. It's so small that the only place I have enough floor space to block all 4 pieces of the 3timeschic sweater from Knitty.com is in the middle of my living room floor. I guess I could spread the parts out and put one piece in each of the 3 bedrooms and the 4th piece in the basement, but somehow I felt that all the pieces needed to be near each other as they went through the blocking process. Unfortunately, I underestimated nap time so my baby boy was up and about way before I was ready for him to be. He spyed the sweater and promptly decided to investigate all the pieces!
You can see in the picture that he has tossed his bottle aside in order to sit on the front of the sweater as he tries to figure out how to get the tape measure to work.
The good news is the pieces were dry enough that I was able to just pull them back into shape, no harm done. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to seam the shoulders so that the ribbing won't look bad. I'm thinking now that I'm going to rip out the bind offs and use a 3 needle cast off instead. Have any better idea??
