Guys, I think I really burned myself out with the holiday knitting. I don't want to pick up a needle of any sort for a long time.
That said, I still have to finish my niece's and grandmother's gifts. Maybe in another week or so, once I recover from the holidays and the sudden flurry of activity I had this past months dies down, I'll feel like finishing them.
What do you guys do when you get the urge to sell all your yarn and needles and just read books?
On a lighter note, I want to wish everyone a belated happy holidays. Here's to a killer 2008.

Ohhh, I feel your pain on the knitting burn out. Just stuff all your needles and yarn into a box and put it away until the urge to sell it all subsides! Rotate to another hobby - reading sounds like a good one! How about we make a pact right now to start our Christmas knitting in, say, September this year?
I still have two gifts I "owe" - the cardigan, which I'm now afraid I may have knit too long - I added a few inches (in which case what the heck do you do with too much length?? You can't cut it off...) and I gave my mom one of her socks, still on the 4 dp needles, which made for an interesting package to wrap. The good news is she tried it on and the heel fits great, so I just have to hope the toe follows suit.
I found a new website which has discontinued yarns, mill cut offs, etc. They had a NYE sale that started at midnight - of course I had to check it out, but was able to refrain from buying anything. That was worth a pat on the back, huh? Happy New Year to you too and here's to some really fun knitting in 2008 (that is once you pull your sticks and yarn out of that box :-)
Ha, Noelle, I started my holiday knitting back in August...of course, I ended up changing my mind about several projects at the last minute.
Still haven't picked up the needles yet. How are you doing on your IOUs?
Also, I'm dealing with the possibility of not eating wheat for the rest of my life, so that's been pretty exhausting.
How the heck have you been, Noelle?
